SPEED DIAL FEATURE AND HOW IT WORKS
The RapidTel service has a great feature called Speed Dial, that gives you one touch dialing. The Speed Dial feature lets you put in your
favorite or most called numbers in your own list and
then call from that list with just the press of one button. This
makes your calling much easier and faster and more convenient. You
can put in up to 10 different numbers in your list.
Using the Speed Dial feature.
Using the Speed Dial feature is very easy. With the CallBack service,
when the service calls you back, simply answer the call, and enter
the speed dial number you assigned on your speed dial list, and
the service will call that number automatically.
With the CallDirect service, when you dial the access number and
you get the voice prompt, then enter the speed dial number you assigned
on your speed dial list, and the service will call that number automatically.
Setting up your Speed Dial numbers is very easy.
1. After you have signed up for the
RapidTel service you will be emailed the link to
login to your account page and your login information, or you can click on the link below if you already have your login information.

You login to your account by clicking here  |
3. After you login, use the instructions below to set
up or modify your speed dial list.
Go
to the section that says, Number Management: Speed Dial List:
In this section you would put in your speed dial numbers
in the following format:
You enter the speed dial number preceded by the number 1 followed
by the = sign followed by the number you want to dial. EG:
0=14161234567
To
enter another number in the list simply follow the last entry with
a semi colon ' ; ' character with no spaces and then put in your next
number
EG: 0=14161234567;1=14162345678;
Just keep entering your numbers in this manner, as many as you like
up to 10 different numbers starting from 0 - 9 to build your Speed
Dial list. Then when you make a call, dial the access number
and when you hear the promt or the service calls you back if you have the call back service, simply dial
the speed dial number you want followed by the # sign and the system
will automatically dial the number that you put in your speed dial
list.
